Vancouver Island North District, BC Teacher Teaching On Call Position (TTOC) Commencing: September 1, 2025 The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: completion of a Bachelor of Education; certification by or eligible to become BC certified by the BC Teacher Certification; recent successful teaching experience; strong organizational and classroom management skills with the ability and energy to motivate students and adjust instructional strategies accordingly; the ability and desire to work closely with staff in a team oriented approach to teaching and learning; strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills to communicate with students, staff and parents; strong interest in innovation and inquiry; strong formative assessment practices; preferred experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) systems; ability to integrate technology to enhance student learning; strong classroom management skills; ability to embed local Indigenous culture and ways of knowing into teaching practices. The starting annual salary for a full-time School Teacher position ranges from $64,368 to $112,637, with placement in the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.APPLICATION PROCESS Interested applicants should apply online through the Make a Future website ).
