Role Summary
The Manager, Talent Acquisition, Sourcing will oversee Rivian and Volkswagon Groups SWAT Sourcing function, leading a high-impact team of Senior Sourcers across North America. This leader will focus on aligning sourcing strategies with executive priorities, ensuring the highest-impact roles are filled with exceptional talent. This role requires a strategic, data-driven leader with strong collaboration and communication skills to optimize sourcing efforts and scale Rivian’s ability to attract top-tier talent.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and develop a team of 5–10 Senior Sourcers across North America, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
2. Manage SWAT Sourcing efforts, focusing on the highest-priority roles based on executive direction and business needs.
3. Partner with business executives, recruiting managers, and hiring leaders to align sourcing strategies with critical hiring objectives.
4. Utilize data and metrics to assess sourcing performance and continuously refine strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment with Rivian’s evolving business objectives and talent acquisition goals.
6. Promote Rivian’s employer brand through targeted outreach strategies, candidate engagement, and sourcing events.
7. Drive the adoption of innovative sourcing techniques and tools to build and maintain robust talent pipelines.
8. Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by fostering clear and consistent communication throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
9. Provide regular reporting and updates to leadership, offering insights into sourcing outcomes and pipeline health.
Qualifications
1. 7+ years of talent acquisition or sourcing experience in high-growth environments.
2. 3+ years of leadership experience managing sourcing or recruiting teams.
3. Demonstrated success in managing a team responsible for sourcing high-impact roles across diverse geographies.
4. Proven ability to align sourcing efforts with business priorities and deliver on critical hiring needs.
5. Strong data literacy, with the ability to interpret metrics and leverage insights to refine sourcing strategies.
6. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a history of effective partnerships across functions.
7. Experience with innovative sourcing tools, techniques, and platforms to enhance candidate engagement.
8. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range California Based Applicants: $125,800-$187,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
