Where You'll Be Working

1. Site: Fort Hills.
2. Schedule: 12-hour days (paid for 11.5 hours). 14 days on, 7 off. 14 nights on, 7 off.
3. Accommodations: Camp accommodation is provided.
4. Transportation: Flights are provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary. Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after rotation).
5. Overtime: After 8 hours in a day and after 40 hours in a week.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Operate D9 - D11 Dozer and various sizes and models of Dozers required to complete assigned work.
2. This position involves ripping above shovel and providing shovels with support out at site as requested.
3. Read stakes and be able to place a grade as needed.
4. Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies, operating standards and procedures.
5. Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE.
6. Reviewing safe work plans/ hazard assessment with prior to job commencement and follow all requirements.
7. Complete equipment/ area walk-arounds, safety checks and field level risk assessments and ensure all equipment is running properly.
8. Report any necessary or anticipated repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors immediately.
9. Report all incidents, near misses or damage immediately.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating Dozer various sizes.
2. Minimum one year experience in a mining atmosphere preferred.
3. Familiar and comfortable working in a production environment.
4. Must be able to follow instructions to ensure safe equipment operation.
5. A safety-first attitude.
6. Attentive and possess strong listening skills.
7. Be proficient in English, both verbally and written.
8. Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
