Job Summary … We are searching for someone to join our team as a Mechanical Drafter and are specifically looking for someone who has had previous experience in this field. You will be responsible for designing submittals drawings and producing fabrication prints on basic projects following established policies and procedures. In this role, you will design the burner piping and all components from the engineering documents for a specific project . If you feel you possess the capabilities for this position, then take the first steps to becoming part of our team by applying online Main Tasks, Responsibilities - Contribute to the process of solving technical problems; - Make and apply suggestions for improvement; - Produce , read and correct prints; Required Education - Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) in industrial drafting . Required Experience - 2-5 years in drafting . Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical projects, burner , air handling or related field. Training, skills, and knowledge required - Knowledge of Inventor , Autocad , Excel; - Read and interpret project P&ID; - Knowledge of piping code; An asset - Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities; - Ability to work in French and English (written and oral); - Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, accuracy and precision; - Ability to respect aggressive schedules, to manage time and pressure constraints; - Ability to work with minimal supervision - autonomous; - Good sense of initiative; - Ability to learn quickly; - Excellent ability to work in a team; - Other Duties: As assigned by supervisor Internal Communication - Regular (15-35%) - Frequent communication with co‑workers. Communication required as an integral part of everyday tasks. External communication - Less frequent (5-10%) - Some communications with other department worker Physical Skill and Effort - Few physical efforts required Ability to work in front of a computer for long periods while remaining focused. (Occasionally) Working Conditions and Hazards - Normal office environment.
