SE Health is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for our digital transformation team that will operate within the Finance Domain. This role will provide transformation support to the Finance team and will have an opportunity to significantly impact organizational growth and effectiveness through delivering best in class digital solutions.

Reporting to the Director of Business Transformation, the Finance Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in transforming SE's Finance function by leveraging their expertise in the Finance domain and by collaborating with SE's Finance team and Digital Transformation Office.

This position is in support of SE Health's strategic transformational initiative. This people-focused transformation journey is aimed at solidifying SE Health's technology and processes to re-imagine how the company can continue to provide excellent experiences for clients and staff, streamline processes, set the business up for future growth, and deliver Hope and Happiness at scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Analyze business needs within related Finance capability areas: Work collaboratively within Finance capability areas to evaluate current business processes and analyze existing Finance applications, to identify opportunities to optimize and improve efficiency of business processes.
2. Elicit and articulate from a wide range of champions (including finance, operational, and technical) the intended outcomes of the related capability areas.
3. Map detailed processes to help stakeholders define digital tool capabilities, business requirements, data requirements and flow, and new roles and responsibilities.
4. Participate in process and quality improvement methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, etc.

Facilitate Design and Support Build of Solution

1. Use people-centered and service design practices to co-lead facilitation of workshops with multidisciplinary groups to gather detailed requirements, organize people, process and tools to directly improve employee experience, and indirectly, our client's experience.
2. Translate requirements to actionable plan of solution design, build, test, and deployment future state business processes and technology per guidance and direction of Finance Functional Lead & Transformation Lead.
3. Participate in evaluation, selection, implementation, and training of new/revised software applications.
4. Prepare detailed test cases & perform testing of solutions, with thorough documentation of results.
5. Assist with development, update and tracking of project management processes and deliverables (e.g., detailed task lists, project schedule, issue logs, financials, status reporting, ongoing monitoring, and reporting).
6. Demonstrate continuous learning on the latest process and digital advancements to automate and modernize processes & systems.

Drive Adoption of Solution

1. Collaborate with different SMEs on Finance project initiatives and transformational changes, and ensure successful implementation.
2. Ensure key players are informed, aligned and maximizing synergies.
3. Support activities and training with business users on new/improved operational processes, deployment of new technologies and applications in support of operational processes.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 5 years' experience as business analyst in Finance business processes.
2. Minimum 3 years' experience working with Finance or ERP Systems (such as Great Plains, Oracle, Workday, etc.) in co-designing and testing changes.
3. Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies & processes.
4. Agile methodology and experience in delivery of solutions is strongly preferred.
5. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills including application of process improvement and quality tools. Lean six sigma certifications preferred.
6. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Visio.
7. Experience with data analysis using business intelligence tools is an asset.
8. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
9. Post-secondary education, with a degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, is preferred (equivalent education and experience will be considered).
10. Healthcare experience is an asset.
