Autodesk’s Docs team seeks a Principal Software Developer for AEC Construction R&D and Forma Data Management. You will act as a technical leader, evolve platform architecture, and help deliver high-quality cloud services. The position also emphasizes code quality, automation, mentoring, and collaboration across diverse international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide architecture evolution for Forma Data Management services
- Deliver cloud products integrating Autodesk tools including AutoCAD and Revit
- Apply automation and quality practices throughout development
- Collaborate with global teams and technical stakeholders
- Mentor developers and share deep software expertise
Requirements:
- Eight or more years in software development
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Enterprise DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud operations experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills as a technical leader Lead Autodesk Forma architecture through cloud development, automation, technical mentorship, and collaboration across global construction software teams.
