We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Hespeler Road Dental, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Specifics about the role

- Job Type: Full Time

- Schedule: Days, evenings and weekend. Weekend availability and evening shifts till 9 pm. Hygiene schedule runs from 12-9 pm.
Should be able to manage 2 chairs at a time with hygiene assist due to hygiene overflow bookings

- Wage - $55 - $58/hr

What you’ll do

- Performing a full range of clinical hygiene services—including scaling, root planning, polishing, and applying topical fluoride—with precision and care.

- Assessing and case typing patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure appropriate and personalized care plans.

- Acting as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.

- Building strong and trusting patient relationships through every interaction—your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.

- Creating a tailored experience for each patient based on their unique needs, expectations, and goals.

What you’ll bring to the role

- Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.

- In good standing with CDHO

- Malpractice/liability insurance through CDHA or ODHA

- IPAC certified

- CPR and WHMIS certification

- 1-2 years of experience preferred

- Experience working in a fast paced dental environment is an asset

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, you're as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.

- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you're comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.

- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.

- Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus

- Experience in Abeldent / Dentrix / Tracker is an asset.

- Knowledge of Akitu One is preferred (training provided for selected candidate).

- Ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
