WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statements and reporting package
- Assist with the external audit process, including preparing working papers for the auditor
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accounting documentation
- Prepare and make bank deposits
- Respond to emails and phone calls from vendors, customers, and inter-company locations
- Administer corporate credit cards, including expense tracking
- Work with the Divisional Controller to prepare monthly reporting and provide operational reporting
- Errors or inefficiencies in spending, reporting, or processes are proactively identified and brought forward for improvement
- Provide coverage for other team members while they are away to ensure continuous business operations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Business Administration Diploma in Accounting with a minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- CPA Designation considered an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Sage Intacct or BQE software considered an asset
