The role of the Maintenance Planner is to apply strong maintenance planning skills to develop plans for inspections and carry out predictive and preventive maintenance for assigned assets. Reporting to the Reliability Manager, the Maintenance Planner will foster strong working relationships across the business.* Develop work plans for maintenance activities containing appropriate work instructions, labour estimates, and material and tool requirements to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the work* Prepare weekly schedules for routine maintenance downturns and major equipment shutdowns* Conduct regular meetings with maintenance and operations departments to establish maintenance work priorities, as well as coordinate and schedule equipment maintenance activities* Work with the maintenance team to develop and continuously improve maintenance programs based on feedback from maintenance activities to improve overall equipment reliability* Monitor and prepare regular reports on key maintenance metrics including downtime and cost summaries, schedule compliance, and PM compliance* Support Maintenance Supervisor in execution of maintenance schedules and report on performance to continuously improve the accuracy of work plans* Performs other duties as they might be assigned**Requirements*** B. Sc.
