Posting Number: T6-4001263 - Round 1 Description: Learning Services Teacher - Grades 7-9 Location: Laurie Middle School, Cranbrook, BC Contract Type: Part-time Temporary (0.411 FTE) Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $26,039 to $45,950, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay). -Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. -Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Job Summary: Learning Services Teacher - Grades 7-90.411 FTE temporary contract, starting January 15, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to March 13, 2026, or return of the incumbent.Must have a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education. Experience at the Middle School level would be considered an asset.This position is scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays. Please note that all work will be on site. Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
