Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Systems and Administration, this full-time role is responsible for allocating materials to fulfill customer orders within the Service Centre division. Key duties include generating production orders for multiple warehouses, managing documentation flow, and facilitating communication between Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, precise attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy.

Location

This position will be located at our Niagara Falls Facility (7771 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls, ON) and will work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Position Functions

1. Enter Production Orders into the ERP system.
2. Review inventory screens and assess best yield/application for custom cutting orders.
3. Perform calculations as required for cutting distribution.
4. Coordinate production planning across multiple saws and warehouses.
5. Correspond with Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Administration departments to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
6. Review and manage contract material reservations.
7. Document management throughout various parts of the office including printing, stamping, highlighting, and sorting.
8. Ensure order entry accuracy.
9. Assist with Quote and Order entry into ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
10. Assist with inventory allocation calculations as required.
11. Assist with other ERP inventory transactions as required.
12. Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

The successful incumbent will be working 40+ hours per week in an office setting.

Physical Requirements

Required to stand, walk, lift, move, and bend in various positions regularly.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
2. Certification or coursework in inventory management is an asset.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, production scheduling, or a related administrative role within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and manipulate data effectively.
5. Familiarity with Google Suite is an asset.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
7. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
