About the Opportunity
- Run end-to-end payroll cycles for a large, multi-province workforce, from collecting hours and calculating inputs to processing changes and special payments such as bonuses, statutory holiday pay, and pension contributions.
- Prepare journal entries, payroll reports, and statements of earnings, and maintain accurate employee data and payroll records, including new-hire setup and employee listings.
- Complete and distribute government documentation including new-hire reports, Records of Employment, and supporting information for T4, RL1, T2200, and TP64.1 preparation, while partnering with SOX auditors on payroll controls and responding to employee and banking inquiries About You
- A payroll professional with a PCP designation and at least two years of hands-on experience processing payroll for 500 or more employees across multiple provinces, backed by a degree in accounting, business, finance, or equivalent experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with working experience in an enterprise HCM payroll platform and the ability to spot discrepancies, resolve them quickly, and keep records audit-ready.
- Dependable and detail-driven, with clear communication skills and the judgment to handle confidential information and juggle competing deadlines without sacrificing accuracy. Salary Range $75,000
- $85,000/year You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada. Benefits
