To pursue its development, GMining Services is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the position of: Summary of responsibilities Reporting to the Piping Engineering Lead, this position will be part of the team dedicated to managing the planning, construction and development of mining projects. More specifically, the incumbent will be called upon to: - Prepareengineeringrecords,includingmodels,drawings,sketchesanddesignsforvariouspipingsystems(pumps,lines,slurry,water,air,etc.),aswellaspipingdepartmentplansandspecifications; - ContributetothereviewofP&IDs; - Preparecostandtimeestimates,reports,designspecifications,andspecificationsforpipingequipmentandsystems; - Preparebudgetforecasts; - Prepare,negotiateandrevisecontracts,includingamendmentsandadditionstocontractualagreements; - Participate in cost-effectiveness and feasibility studies. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or process engineering, or other related diploma; - Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience; - Significant asset in mining or industrial projects;; - Ability to communicate in English and/or French; - Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is an asset; - Good knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); - Knowledge of Fathom software is an asset. Abilities - Good analytical, synthesis and problem solving skills; - Comfortable working in an ever-changing environment; - Teamwork and leadership; - Organizational and planning skills; - Good priority management; - Autonomy and initiative.
