Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, including team-building activities, social gatherings, offsites, conferences, and networking events.

2. Manage all event logistics from initial concept through to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless execution.

3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align event goals with company objectives.

4. Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and suppliers to ensure high-quality event delivery.

5. Handle event promotion, including invitations, communications, and social media.

6. Build and nurture relationships within the company and with external partners to strengthen the sense of community.

7. Organize and manage internal communications and initiatives that foster employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.

8. Identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations that benefit the company's visibility and reputation in the community.

9. Create and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are executed within financial guidelines.

10. Negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure the best deals and ensure cost-effective event solutions.

11. Ensure all contracts, agreements, and logistical details are handled in a timely and professional manner.

12. Gather feedback from event participants to assess event success and areas for improvement.

13. Analyze event ROI, providing detailed reports and insights on event outcomes, engagement, and impact.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in event planning, community management, or a related role.

2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Ability to build strong relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Creative mindset with an ability to think outside the box and design unique experiences.

6. Experience with social media platforms and promoting events online.

7. Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage budgets.

8. A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.

9. Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

10. You're passionate about improving the Canadian healthcare experience and have a personal connection to the space.
