Goals & Mission

- Our mission is to create projects teaching unique and specialized sport and active play programs to children in need.
- Our goal is to reach and teach children while encouraging the sustainability of the program.

Activities and Tasks

This hands‑on position calls for the design and execution of fundraising strategies of all types (grants, campaigns, events, sponsorships and private donations). The director will oversee all aspects of yet‑to‑be‑designed fundraising programs as well as create fundraising goals and solicit funds to meet designated targets. Develop new donor bases and organize initiatives to solicit funds.

Outline of Responsibilities

- Create, develop and execute sponsorship and donation policies and procedures.
- Define and implement fundraising materials.
- Implement initiatives and operations for the fundraising group.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the Board of Directors including continual communication with the Board.

Mandatory Activities

Attend and participate in Board and team meetings on a regular basis and special events as required.

Preferred Experience

- Preferred experience with not-for-profit organization.
- Previous success in managing sponsorship projects is an asset.
- Experience in fundraising.

Certification or Education Required

Community minded with the ability to source opportunities for sponsorships and donations. Must have sales experience and be great at selling our story
