MacLeod Paradise Villa provides licensed care services to 78 residents, including special care and memory care. Newly constructed in 2012, the state-of-the-art building is nestled in a country-like setting conveniently located near shopping, churches, bus routes, and a short drive to downtown.

In this leadership role, you will work within a team of highly skilled professionals who together, provide excellent medical and compassionate care for our residents. MacLeod Cares strives to be industry leading while demonstrating exceptional care for our residents and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, professional, and compassionate care to residents within the LPN Scope of Practice.
- Lead, schedule and supervise Personal Support Workers, ensuring high standards of care is maintained.
- Process payroll biweekly
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Participate actively in safety training, drills, and meetings.
- Report hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly and accurately.
- Maintain clean and safe working areas according to OHS guidelines.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A nurse who has successfully completed a recognized Practical Nursing Program, including pharmacology, health assessment, and medication administration
- A Nurse with an Active Practicing License – Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses
- Certified in Safe Resident Handling
- A new or recent graduate, or a nurse with previous experience
- Strong in understanding occupational health and safety practices.
- Able to follow safe work procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Able to obtain a clean vulnerable sector check / criminal record check and Social Development Check

The LPN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate Resident care within the LPN Scope of Practice. The LPN will function as a team leader and provide direction and supervision for Resident Care Workers in the Home.
