We’re a technology company that leads with our humanity—driving our business priorities alongside meaningful social, community, and societal impact.**How You Will Contribute:*** Develop new scripts to automate different stages of physical implementation.* Help with development and support of our implementation flow.* Run trials and document the results.* Debug issues and analyze the results. **The Must Haves:*** Working towards completion of 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate in suitable subject within a Computer or Electrical Engineering Dept. with good standing.* Good programming and debugging skills.* Attention to details and good communication skills.* Resourcefulness and methodical problem-solving approach are key to a successful candidate **Assets:*** Experience with Phyton, TCL, Perl or any other scripting languages.* Basic knowledge of digital logic and/or communication theory.* Familiarity with Verilog or other hardware description languages* Familiarity with timing constraints* Understanding of basic synthesis and P&R concepts* Timing closure and STA knowledge**Pay Range**The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hourPay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
