Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the Fort McMurray store. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering the career growth of their team members, facilitating hiring, training, and performance management, while also enhancing customer relations and supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster the career growth of team members through mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Facilitate hiring, training, and onboarding processes.
  • Enhance customer relations by providing exceptional service and resolving customer complaints.
  • Support the Store Manager with daily operations, including administrative duties and cash handling.
  • Manage Kal Tire assets and cash flow under company standards and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement strategies and plans, and ensure completion of supporting activities to deliver expected outcomes.


Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managerial or supervisory roles (preferred).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent and some management training (preferred).
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and procedures.
