Section 17.7 of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Self-Government Agreement commits Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in and the Government of Yukon to share responsibility for lifelong learning on Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Traditional Territory. The administration, design, and delivery of education is co-governed and emphasizes an integrated education system built on a foundation of Dënezhu and local ways of knowing, being, and doing. We follow the lead of our learners and respond by providing opportunities that can meet their needs and that allow them to discover their purpose. The Hän Language Cultural Experiential Cultural Programming Coordinator will design and deliver hands-on, culturally based learning experiences in the Hän Room.
