The Opportunity:

Our client, a global aircraft manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME-M) to support helicopter completions, modifications, and testing activities. This role ensures all maintenance and inspection work meets Transport Canada and company standards for safety, quality, and airworthiness.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Perform helicopter completions and installations of systems, options, and STC kits per work orders and drawings.
- Conduct inspections, disassembly, and reassembly for painting and modification projects.
- Carry out functional checks (fuel, engine, hydraulic, and flight systems) prior to flight.
- Identify, document, and correct defects or snags found during assembly or testing.
- Support Quality Assurance with inspections to confirm compliance with Transport Canada and maintenance manuals.
- Perform ground runs, rotor track and balance, and weight and balance checks post-maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a clean, organized, and FOD-free work environment.
- Mentor apprentices and lead small project teams when assigned.
- Stay current with technical training, service bulletins, and regulatory changes.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

- Completion of a Transport Canada–approved Aircraft Maintenance program.
- Valid TCCA AME License (M category).
- Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, inspection, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
- Salary: $85,000 - $105,000
