Cyclic Materials is seeking a Principal Metallurgist in Toronto, Ontario, to spearhead rare earth recycling initiatives. Your leadership will guide process optimization and mentoring within the team.
In this pivotal role, you will leverage over 20 years of hydrometallurgical knowledge to oversee the development and optimization of our circular supply chain processes. You will lead lab test work programs, interface with various plant operations, and report on metallurgical performance metrics that are crucial for operational success. Your expertise will help drive the transition to sustainable materials and support key strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct the optimization of the recycling process
• Manage testing programs for plant enhancements
• Initiate and report on improvements for performance
• Interface with metallurgists for plant operations
• Lead and manage project timelines and deliverables
Requirements:
• 20+ years of experience in hydrometallurgy
• Experience with test program design
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Degree in relevant engineering discipline with P. Eng designation
