First Student is actively hiring Technicians to support our operation in Chatham. In this role, you will be integral in maintaining and repairing school buses, contributing directly to the safety of students. Candidates with at least five years of diesel or automotive maintenance experience are encouraged to apply, as we provide the resources for ASE certification and tools, ensuring you are prepared for a successful career.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for passengers
• Diagnose and repair brakes, engines, and suspensions
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Accurately complete work orders for repairs
• Assist with mobile emergency repairs as needed

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in diesel or automotive repair
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license is mandatory
• Mechanic's tool set ownership required
