Apprentice Utility Arborist page is loaded## Apprentice Utility Arboristlocations: Kamloops, British Columbiatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: JR120555# **Wright Tree Service of Canada****The Position:** Apprentice Utility Arborist**Type:** Full-time **Reports To:** Project ManagerWright Tree Service, a business unit of Wright Canada Holdings, provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across North America.**Why Wright Canada Holdings:*** A Company Culture of Safety, Family, Integrity, Excellence and Stewardship* Pay rate of $30 to $36 per hour* We provide ALL equipment needed except your CSA Certified Work Boots* Working shifts of 9 days on and 5 days off* Compensated travel time, depending on working location, and live out allowance* Medical and Dental benefits* Employee Ownership potential**Key Responsibilities:*** Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, or feed brush into a woodchipper.* Assist in site set-up and take-down, including equipment handling and maintaining site cleanliness.* Commitment to working safely and supporting a positive team environment.* Perform physically demanding manual labor in various weather conditions.* Other duties as required.**Experience and Knowledge Expectations:*** Basic knowledge of trees, including identification and growth habits.* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record; air brakes endorsement is a plus.* Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments.* Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills.* Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and equipment.* Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE.* Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations during emergencies.* Valid First-Aid and CPR certificates.**Join Our Team:**Wright Tree Service of Canada is a business unit of an employee-owned company formed in 2017, known as Wright Canada Holdings (WCH).
