Global Program Manager

Job Description:

1. Primary interface and point of contact between the Company and Customer for manufacturing programs to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Work with an interdisciplinary program team.
3. Track and follow up on all open issues.
4. Handle any changes related to the manufacturing programs such as customer engineering changes, supplier requested changes to a component or mfg. process, internal mfg. process changes, etc.
5. Prepare and lead quote activities for responsible programs.
6. Establish program timelines and ensure that customer and internal milestones are met.
7. Lead local and global APQP meetings within the organization as well as with the customer; assist and solve technical issues as they arise.
8. Assist Program Managers in other regions if the program is a global program.
9. Establish SOR for manufacturing process equipment and lead RFQ process.
10. Travel to customer locations for presentations and program meetings as required.
11. Adhere to all rules and regulations of SHW.
12. Any other reasonable request made by Management.

Job Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 7 years automotive experience, OEM(s), Tier 1 & Tier II.
2. Must have worked a minimum of 2 years in a previous program manager position.
3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or equivalent work experience.
4. Knowledge of ISO 9002 or TS 16949 and ability to write procedures and work instructions.
5. Experience with electro-hydraulic products would be an asset.
6. Excellent communication skills dealing with Customers & Suppliers both internal & external.
7. Ability to work in a team.
8. Work with minimal supervision.
9. Strong communication skills.
10. Experienced with MS Office and Project software.
11. German language knowledge would be an asset.
12. Self-starter with a positive attitude.
13. Ability to travel internationally.
14. Ability to work a flexible schedule if required.
