Information Risk Management Analyst

The Information Risk Management Analyst is responsible for managing IT risk through the identification, evaluation, integration, and documentation of risks and controls. This role supports risk analysis, process research, and dashboard reporting, while collaborating with subject matter experts and maintaining SharePoint environments. The analyst will contribute to risk mitigation planning and ensure alignment with governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in identification, evaluation, and documentation of IT business risks and controls
- Lead IT risk and control assessments for assigned business processes
- Seek guidance from team members to resolve issues and escalat appropriately
- Gather information and perform basic risk analysis and process research
- Support IT risk analysis and dashboard reporting requirements
- Document processes and merge SharePoint sites with proper controls
- Apply foundational knowledge of business products and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparency and effective communication
- Demonstrate strong social and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Information Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics
- 5–7 years of experience in IT risk management or related field
- Basic knowledge of risk management principles
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of probability and IT risk modeling techniques
- Proficiency in SharePoint (demonstrated experience managing sites)
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with risk dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST)
- Exposure to regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
