The Associate Opportunity

As an Associate, you will support a Financial Advisor and their team with their financial planning practice, providing a full range of financial products and services for clients. This career is both challenging and rewarding. Day-to-day responsibilities

You will provide support on financial planning, including the illustration of insurance quotes, along with the development and updating of written financial reports. You will also be responsible for reviewing client files for compliance requirements and new business opportunities. There will be daily client interaction through incoming client calls, meetings on and offsite, along with executing trade orders and providing information on products, services and strategies. As a contributor to the growth of the practice, you support the team in planning and implementation of external marketing strategies.

What we’re looking for in you

- An experienced, associate-level talent to help sustain and expand an already high standard of comprehensive planning as client needs and complexity continue to grow.

In particular, a successful candidate will:

- Have 5+ years of industry experience

- Currently support or manage 200+ client households, built through advice and long-term trust

- Are passionate about providing comprehensive financial planning for Canadian families

- Are comfortable using technology to enhance the client experience

- Possess either their Mutual Funds and/or Investment license. Preference will be given to candidates who possess the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or nearing completion.

- CFP and TEP are an asset.
