About This Opportunity
The Project Manager, Engineering manages Product Supply Systems Canada facilities and capital equipment (Machinery & Equipment) projects covering the Richmond facility.
This opportunity is for a 14-Month Maternity Leave Replacement.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-year projects in the Richmond facility.
- Develop projects in collaboration with the Plant and Engineering teams.
- Emphasize development and validation of scope, budget, timeline, and deliverables during the planning stages. Scope, budget, and timeline are critical deliverables of the project implementation phases.
- Provide expertise in equipment, machinery operation, water treatment operations, syrup production, etc. to ensure operating efficiencies at production sites.
- Create equipment specifications and communicate them to manufacturers.
- Manage the process for suppliers to be included on the approved supplier list.
- Participate in bid reviews and vendor selection.
- Develop a multi-year capital plan for assigned manufacturing facilities in collaboration with the engineering and plant teams.
Qualifications
- University degree in engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience.
- Experience in the carbonated beverage industry is considered an asset.
- 5+ years of operations or maintenance experience preferred.
- Preferred technical expertise in facilities, processes, and/or machinery utilized in the beverage industry is an asset.
