Job Description
We are looking to contract a 5-ton DZ owner-operator for City Pickup & Delivery with knowledge of Sudbury and its surrounding areas. This Owner-Operator will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the area, while adhering to standards and requirements as outlined in the contract. Qualifications Eligibility Criteria: Business Opportunity We wish to partner with an independent incorporated business to provide a current model truck and qualified operator to provide local pick-up and delivery services within the service area of the Sudbury Terminal. The Services require business flexibility but are generally required over 5 days per week and may include some weekends. Operational flexibility is a must. The qualified operator is responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements, including Pre and post-trip inspections of equipment and may include the delivery of periodic dock services to load and unload freight as required. Operate within the standards and requirements as outlined in the services contract. The Business must provide WCB Coverage to its Operators Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Sudburyservice area, while adhering to company policies and procedures Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight This is an excellent opportunity to partner with a stable and expanding Company where a commitment to service excellence is recognized and rewarded. Additional Information Operator Qualifications
- DZ Licence
- 1 year of experience
- Responsible for loading/unloading freight
- Good understanding of the Hours of Service regulations
- Forklift ticket is an asset
- TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset Equipment

- Mechanically Fit 5 Ton Straight Truck& ELD Compatible
