We have an opening for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities

Provide front-line customer service for Commercial Lines policies, retain and develop existing clients, and quote and place new business as required.

- Servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, and processing renewals
- Selling new policies, retaining existing business, and quoting new business
- Preparing documentation for insurers and keeping current on underwriting rules
- Participating in training initiatives and community marketing

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education
- Previous Commercial Insurance experience (an asset)
- AIC Level 1 or 2 License
- Proficiency in EPIC and MS Office
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and strong analytical skills
- Ability to pass a criminal and credit check
