Está ubicado en dos importantes ciudades canadiense, Vancouver y Montreal. El estudio es responsable de producciones exitosas como The Dragon Prince, Rick and Morty, Teen Titans Go y Diary of a Wimpy Kid. El Surfacing Artist creará texturas y redes de sombreado para personajes CG y props, pudiendo incluir trabajo con grooms. Colaborará estrechamente con el equipo de modelado, grooming y dirección de arte para lograr el estilo visual esperado para los assets en producción. Además, participará en las sesiones de revisión, discusiones de equipo y cumplirá rigurosamente con los requerimientos técnicos y pipeline para asegurar la integración perfecta a la producción. Los artistas senior tendrán la responsabilidad adicional de crear plantillas para optimizar flujos de trabajo y mentorizar a miembros junior, proporcionando retroalimentación y apoyo. El rol implica gestionar el tiempo eficazmente para cumplir con los plazos de producción y mantener informado al equipo y a producción sobre avances y desafíos. Requisitos - Experiencia previa en producción como Surfacing Artist o similar en animación. - Excelente comunicación verbal y escrita para promover soluciones, compartir conocimientos e incorporar retroalimentación. - Portafolio que demuestre alto nivel de detalle y calidad en surfacing a través de una diversidad de personajes y ambientes, preferentemente con trabajo estilizado usando Mari, Substance y Photoshop. - Buen ojo para luz, sombra, color y detalle en la creación de materiales y texturas. - Conocimiento de flujos de trabajo estándar de la industria, layouts UV y optimización. - Capacidad para crear texturas a partir de referencias. - Se valorará experiencia en Blender, especialmente en shading y lighting. - Experiencia con sombreado de pelo y pelo con fur es un plus. Beneficios Rango salarial: CAD $1,300 – $1,700 por semana. El rango salarial es orientativo y considera factores como educación, certificaciones, experiencia, habilidades y necesidades del negocio.
