Facilities Coordinator- Full Time

Woodfield Gate - London, Ontario

Position Description: Reporting to the Facilities Manager, as the Facilities Coordinator, you will assist in maintenance and operations of buildings in London, ON. Stewarding resources to ensure high standards of quality in our infrastructure, sites and services while maintaining strong working relationships with program staff and tenants alike.

Hours of Work: Full Time, 40hours per week, primarily weekdays. Participation in the on-call 24/7 rotation schedule is required every 4-6 weeks.

What you will be doing:

- Responding to maintenance and repair needs throughout Indwell's buildings in London focusing primarily at our Woodfield Gate location
- Documentingwork orders, updating status and completion dates as requiredin Yardi(Indwell'sproperty management software)
- Performingrepairs,upgradesand cleaning to ensure that vacated apartments are ready for new tenantsas part of turnoverprocess
- Completingmonthly inspections and preventative maintenance
- Performing tasks such as painting, drywall patching, repairs to plumbing and electricalfixtures
- Coordinating pick-upand delivery of materials from suppliers
- Being aware of and following all agency policies andprocedures
- Additional duties asassigned

What you will bring:

- Relevant experience in trades,construction,or property maintenance
- 5+years of experiencein property management, maintenance, or facility operations
- Your proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment
- Effective communication via various means (i.e.phone, email,office 365 suite)
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, walk,andlift heavy objects (up to 25 kilograms)as work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather
- A team player who is committed to upholding and modeling the standards set out in the organization's Mission Statementand other operating standards andpolicies
- A Valid "G" class driver's licenseand access to vehiclerecommended
