YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Maintenance Assistant Superintendent, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure the improvement of your department and prepare efficient operation. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the maintenance department for the assigned operations group;
- Collaborate with operational departments to manage equipment priorities and maintenance to ensure productivity;
- Ensure that the maintenance team works efficiently with all resources;
- Prepare the allocated budget and control cost for the upcoming operations;
- Provide specific training and development opportunities for immediate employees;
- Ensure that equipment availability meets or exceeds all production requirements by ensuring that all fleets are maintained in a safe, efficient, and effective manner on their shift;
- Coach and mentor subordinates in regard to employee relations, safety, environmental, productivity, and cost issues and address inappropriate behavior as required;
- Oversee investigations involving safety incidents, accidents, and near misses;
- Ensure that reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner;
- Recommend procedures and methods to improve employee safety.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

- Red Seal or Journeyman certification is considered an asset;
- Experience in the mining industry with mobile, surface, open pit, and underground equipment is required;
- JDE working knowledge is considered an asset;
- Hold or eligible for a Level 2 Supervisor Certification, as per the Mining Act;
- Hold or eligible for a valid First Aid Certificate;
- Experience working in a multicultural environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule:

- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
