Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems. You will collaborate with a project team to ensure the successful completion of engineering products.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Reporting directly to the engineering manager, lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for various projects.
2. Perform detailed electrical engineering analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and protective device coordination studies.
3. Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
4. Program and supervise PLC programming.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
6. Quality check and stamp documents.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
8. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and clients.
9. Develop strong relationships with clients.
10. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
11. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on complex systems and projects.
3. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification is required (ability to stamp EWPs).
4. Experience with Rockwell, DeltaV, or Schneider systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, present technical concepts, and document integration processes.
7. Experience in project planning, execution, and risk management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Experience with control narratives, shutdown keys, critical settings documents, and P&IDs.
9. Experience with commissioning, SAT, and troubleshooting.
10. Mentoring of junior engineers/technologists.
11. Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office.
12. Continuous learner focused on personal and team development.
13. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
14. Independent thinker, able to manage pressure, work well under pressure, and maintain focus.
15. Ability to collaborate and work well with others, guide others, and be customer service oriented.
