Gatehouse Montessori School is a leading provider of authentic Montessori education in West Vancouver. We are currently seeking an AMI-trained Primary (CASA) Guide to join our dynamic and diverse team of passionate educators. This part-time / full-time position oIers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori principles, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- AMI Montessori CASA Diploma
- B.C. Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate
- Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience classroom management
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, time management
- Excellent Verbal and communication skills
- Must uphold a high standard of professionalism
- Hard-working, pro-active and has a strong work ethic
- Organized, eIicient, responsible, must take initiative, dedicated
Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to AMI Montessori curriculum, philosophies and pedagogy
- Monitoring and assessing student progress and writing reports
- Ensure that the space is engaging, clean and conducive to growth and development of the students
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with a co-guide
- Maintain relationships with families and staI
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive and excellent salary ($27 to $30 and $6 ECE wage enhancement)
