Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate bridge and culvert design, construction, rehabilitation, and replacement
- Oversee consultants, contractors, engineering services, and construction monitoring
- Ensure projects follow department standards, specifications, policies, and regulations
- Deliver regional bridge programs on schedule and within approved budgets
- Assess existing structures and support long-term infrastructure planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Eligibility for a Professional Engineer designation from APEGA
- Five years of related experience
- Bridge preliminary engineering experience and knowledge
- Project management experience managing multiple delivery stages Use civil engineering and project management expertise to deliver safe, compliant bridge infrastructure for Alberta’s transportation network.
