Service technician

Summary of responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools
- Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Additional duties as required
Skills
- Valid driver's license, with clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to use basic computer functions and the MS-Office Suite of products
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with other tradespersons
- The capability of working outside in all types of weather for on-site customer service and inside a shop
- A strong work ethic, reliability and dependability are key requirements for this position
Schedule and Salary
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Salary starting from $27/hour (depending on experience)
