The Clinical Resource Nurse educates, mentors and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the unit.Human Resources Exemption: NoExperience 5 years recent emergency dept experience including triage/coordinator/educator Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) Canadian Nurses Association certification is preferred Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Competencies Advanced - Demonstrates leadership skills Advanced - Sound clinical judgment skills Advanced - Critical thinking skills Knowledge and Abilities Commitment to continued learning and professional development.   Has demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
