Ontario Shores is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program reporting to the Administrative Director, MH STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION. The OSPP Program serves as a central point of access for all in and outpatient services at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. Specialized recovery-focused staff provide a range of triage, intake, system navigation, psychotherapy, and outpatient services. OSPP offers a range of expert services that include assessments, consultations, behavioral support, shared care, group opportunities, and follow-up that can be provided in a traditional office-based setting, in the community, or via telemedicine based on the unique needs of each individual.
The Clinical Manager will be responsible for:
1. Developing and evaluating services.
2. Providing leadership and coordinating the interdisciplinary team.
3. Managing human resources, including recruitment, career development, and performance management.
4. Leading team planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
5. Assuming a lead role in quality improvement initiatives in alignment with the strategic directions of the Centre.
6. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Financial responsibility for developing and monitoring the budget.
8. Identifying and developing educational requirements and providing clinical supervision of members of the clinical team, in collaboration with Professional Practice Leaders.
9. Providing exemplary clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team.
10. Supporting consultation to internal/external stakeholders on all aspects of services.
11. Ensuring the focus of services remains on achieving excellence in service delivery including quality, strategy, and operational efficiency.
You must be able to work in a collaborative, open, and client-centered approach with patients, families, community stakeholders, and staff of multiple disciplines alike.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A post-secondary degree in a health field is a requirement for this position, master's preferred.
- Regulated Health Professional required.
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience in the mental health field preferred.
- Knowledge and/or experience working with individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder preferred.
- Training and experience using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy preferred.
- Training and experience in group facilitation preferred.
- Training and experience with telemedicine-based service delivery an asset.
- 3-5 years of recent community mental health service provision preferred.
- Training and experience with project management as an asset.
- Training and experience in change management.
- Proficiency in the management of budget and statistical data and managing in a unionized environment is preferred.
- Experience with presentations is required.
- Ability to lead an interdisciplinary team required.
- Understanding and application of evidence-based practice required.
- Travel to various sites/locations, and a valid driver's license are mandatory.
