We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Metal Blender/Finisher. The role of Metal Blender/Finisher reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages including shift premiums. We have continuous need to fill open positions on the: 3rd Shift (Sunday to Friday 11:00pm – 7:00am) + $1.50 shift premium This role will have 3 months of training on our 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am) + $1.00 shift premium. Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to): Restore parts to their original geometric specifications using various fabrication and finishing techniques Perform blending operations to ensure a consistent surface finish according to outlined specifications Key Skill Requirements: Excellent hand eye coordination Willingness and ability to work as part of a team Strong attention to detail Excellent fine manual dexterity is required Key Experience/Education: Minimum Secondary School education Experience working with small hand tools is required Experience grinding and prepping parts is an asset Experience with air powered tools is an asset Experience with metal finishing is an asset Experience with inspection tools (for example: Vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators) is an asset Application Information: This role is full-time with initial training on our day shift.
