We are on a mission to grow and evolve our groundbreaking smart home platform while transforming our existing SmartHome offering into the next generation. Our new TELUS SmartHome+ platform will redefine convenience, automation, and peace of mind for homes across Canada. Our team is dedicated to designing exceptional customer experiences, developing value propositions tailored to the Canadian market, and ensuring a seamless journey for our customers as we launch innovative new products.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the next-generation smart home experience. You will lead the development of our cutting-edge automation and security plans, driving the product lifecycle across multiple scrum teams and delivering clear program visibility to stakeholders. This role will focus on launching an automation plan as part of the TELUS SmartHome+ platform, enhancing our existing HomeView (smart camera plan), and supporting self and professionally monitored security plans. You'll collaborate with TELUS systems, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to bring these concepts to life for Canadian customers.

What you'll do

1. Lead Product Launch: Drive the end-to-end launch of our next-generation automation plan in the Canadian market, ensuring successful and timely delivery
2. Develop Value Propositions: Create compelling product value propositions that resonate with customers and enable confident decision-making by customers and sales teams
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical product teams, GTM (marketing, sales, support, channels), and field operations to ensure seamless launches
4. Stakeholder Alignment: Align and secure buy-in from key stakeholders across Product, Marketing, CIO, PMO, Support, Channels, and Operations
5. Business Requirements: Define and communicate business requirements to TELUS OSS/BSS teams, supporting new buy journeys on our Subscription on Demand platform and platform-level enhancements informed by customer insights
6. Market Expertise: Stay deeply informed about our customers, competitive landscape, market trends, and internal strategies to identify opportunities and guide product decisions
7. Leadership Reporting: Present product plans, progress, and results to executive leadership, clearly articulating value and impact

Qualifications

What you'll bring

1. Product Expertise: Significant experience in product management, including launching new plans or offerings
2. Analytical Mindset: Expertise in business casing, customer lifetime value (CLV), and unit economics management
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of aligning and working with diverse stakeholders to close gaps, address challenges, and achieve on-time delivery
4. Project Management Skills: Exceptional ability to manage complex projects with multiple moving parts while meeting tight deadlines
5. Customer-First Focus: Strong attention to detail with a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
6. Data-Driven Storytelling: Ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making, present results, and inspire teams
7. Problem-Solving Skills: Creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify problems, distill insights, and recommend solutions
8. Innovation-Oriented: A curious mindset with a passion for exploring market trends, uncovering new ideas, and empowering teams to think boldly

Nice-to-Have Skills

1. Familiarity with IoT technologies, smart home automation, or subscription-based platforms
2. Experience with agile development methodologies and working across multiple scrum teams
3. Knowledge of the Canadian market for smart home products or related industries

Salary Range: $96,000-$144,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
