Physical therapist – Port Alberni, BC

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our wonderful clinical team. Port Alberni is a small, friendly town nestled in the heart of the Vancouver Island rainforest, amongst soaring mountain peaks, pristine rivers, and outstanding lakes. Known as the Salmon Capital of the World, fishing in both fresh water and salt water is abundant year-round. If you are an outdoor adventurer, this is a great place to call home. Epic hikes are plentiful, as well as all kinds of winter and summer recreational activities. The clientele we service is mainly working age, WorkSafe BC, ICBC and privately funded patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries, and we pride ourselves in helping our community members regain their health and function after injury.

As a full time Physiotherapist with our team delivering Interdisciplinary programming and acute services, you'll have all the tools and resources you need to grow your practice and continue to develop your skills. After all, our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities.

New or experienced in your PT career – you will have an experienced, passionate interdisciplinary team (Physician, Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists, Registered Clinical Counselors, Psychologists, Pharmacist) to help people return to their work/purpose and improve their quality of life. We'll empower you to enrich lives and achieve amazing results by doing what you do best.

This is a Full Time permanent role located at 2996 2nd Avenue, Port Alberni, British Columbia.

This role is eligible for up to a $5,000 Signing Bonus

- You will work with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, directed towards maintaining and enhancing their physical abilities, lifestyle and well-being.
- You will be responsible for assessing and delivering direct client care, documentation, communication to support effective case management.
- You will participate in a collaborative care model providing holistic, comprehensive care to meet the needs of clients.
- You promote positive relationships between clients, team members, funders and community.

- You are a graduate of a recognized School of Physiotherapy.
- We welcome new grads.
- You are a registered member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia.
- You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development.
