The Business System Analyst (BSA) plays a key role in bridging business requirements and technical solutions within data-driven environments.

This position involves gathering and analyzing business needs, translating them into system and data requirements, and supporting data warehousing, modeling, and analytics initiatives through close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements, including preparation of SRS and data mapping documents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis using complex SQL queries, including window functions, to support reporting and analytical use cases.
- Support data profiling and data warehousing activities.
- Work with data engineering teams to validate data models and ensure accurate data flow.
- Participate in requirement validation, solution design discussions, and data verification activities.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support project delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced queries and window functions.
- Experience with data profiling and data warehousing concepts, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) and various data loading strategies.
- Hands‑on experience with data modeling, including different schema types.
- Proven Business System Analyst skills, including requirement gathering, SRS creation, and data mapping.
- Working knowledge of Azure Databricks (ADB) and PySpark.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in large‑scale data or analytics platforms.
- Prior exposure to cloud‑based data environments.
