Role Overview

- ZED Digital is seeking a dynamic and skilled iOS/Android Developer to contribute to the development of high-performing, intuitive mobile applications. In this role, you’ll work on impactful projects that integrate IoT technology, delivering solutions that enhance mobility, public safety, and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and Development: Create, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android).
- IoT Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT technologies into mobile applications.
- Feature Creation: Build user-centric features, including contactless payment systems, real-time crowd management, and queue-free solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure seamless integration with IoT devices, optimize app performance, and resolve issues through debugging.
- Data Visualization: Work on real-time dashboards and visualization tools for platforms like ZIG Applications.
- Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends in mobile development and IoT technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Code Excellence: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1+ years of professional mobile app development experience or equivalent coursework with strong project exposure.
- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android).

- Experience with UIKit, Core Data, or equivalent Android frameworks.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API integration and IoT device connectivity.

- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.

- Familiarity with platform-specific design guidelines (Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design).

- Additional Skills: Knowledge of real-time data visualization tools or dashboards is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, or Objective-C for iOS.
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose for Android development.
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth or NFC for IoT device integration.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in public safety or mobility solutions.
