Junior Piping Designer

Full-Time or Part-Time Position

Pioneer Engineering Inc. is a multi-disciplined EPCM company with a proven track record of success. We specialize in the engineering design, procurement, and construction management of facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry all across Western Canada. At Pioneer Engineering, our mission is to deliver cost-effective EPCM projects with execution excellence, reduced project cycle time, and improved operability. Our goal is to provide technical expertise, creative solutions, and responsible design services that meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Skills:

- Independently complete technical drawings: PFD, P&IDs, Plot plans, ISOs, BOMs and GAs.
- Prepare material lists, line lists and project drawing lists as required.
- Participate in the vendor drawing review process.

Education & Qualifications:

- Must have an Engineering Design & Drafting Diploma/Process Piping Drafting Certificate.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience within an EPCM environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, CADWorx and NavisWorks.
- Working knowledge of discipline specific skills, codes, and standard practices.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to self-check and produce accurate designs.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Individuals who possess current H2S Alive and First Aid certificates are an asset.
- Must possess the ability to finish work in a timely fashion.
