Overview

The PepsiCo Process Improvement Engineer would have primary accountability for driving the productivity agenda through the identification and execution of projects/tactics that will deliver productivity savings and improve equipment/line reliability (including Quality Assurance).

Responsibilities

- Deliver productivity savings through tactics such as waste reduction/elimination and line performance improvements.
- Improve equipment/line reliability and support the engineering team to develop project proposals for capital investments to upgrade equipment and facilities.
- Apply process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, FMEA, etc.) and Advanced Statistical Tools (including process control methodologies) to identify targeted improvement actions and track results after completion.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations.
- Support the Business Unit's agile teams by fulfilling a scrum master role and owning the productivity features and stories.
- Own a portion of the day-to-day productivity admin by maintaining projects within the Global Powersteering software.
- Maintain the 3YR productivity pipeline for designated area.
- Drive process improvements within our Environmental Health & Safety Programs as a program owner.

Qualifications

- Engineering or other technical designation.
- Demonstrates superior organizational and communication skills.
- Strong presentation and influence skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with key internal stakeholders (shop floor employees, operators and technicians, business unit leaders, supply chain leaders, team supervisors, corporate engineers, QA managers, supply planners, director of manufacturing).
