Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Process Re-Engineering Consultant to advise clients in the Financial Markets industry on transforming business processes using Cognitive Process Reengineering (CPR). This role requires a strategic thinker with deep domain expertise, strong consulting skills, and the ability to design and implement innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.

What They Are Looking For (Key Highlights)

Deep Financial Markets Knowledge – Trading, clearing, settlement, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Cognitive Process Reengineering Expertise – Applying AI, automation, and analytics to optimize workflows.

Business Analysis & Strategy – Ability to create vision, blueprint, and roadmap for transformation.

Formal Training in Business Analysis – BABOK or equivalent certification/diploma.

Proven Experience – Minimum 10 years analyzing business functional requirements and reengineering processes.

Consulting Leadership – Client-facing, capable of influencing C-level stakeholders and leading workshops.

Responsibilities

- Advise clients on products and solutions for solving complex problems in Financial Markets using CPR.
- Review existing work processes and organizational structures to identify inefficiencies.
- Analyze business functional requirements to map information, procedures, and decision flows.
- Identify candidate processes for redesign, prototype solutions, and recommend optimal approaches.
- Develop and articulate transformation strategies aligned with client’s vision and industry trends.
- Assist in creating business vision and blueprint, optimizing operations and processes.
- Define roadmap for achieving future-state business functions, including solution selection and implementation.
- Provide expert advice on integrating process and information models to eliminate redundancies.
- Document workflows and use modeling tools for process visualization.
- Transfer knowledge through consultations, demonstrations, and documentation.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies impacting Financial Markets.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 10 years within the last 15 years analyzing business functional requirements and reengineering processes.
- Certification: Formal training in Business Analysis (BABOK or equivalent).
- Domain Expertise: Broad knowledge of Financial Markets and deep understanding of client operations.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with workflow modeling tools and cognitive technologies (AI, RPA, analytics).

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Cognitive Automation platforms (IBM Watson, UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, Basel III, Dodd-Frank).
- Exposure to cloud-based transformation and data analytics in financial services.
