We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support multiple teams across the company by building and maintaining a scalable data infrastructure.

We’re looking for a Senior Developer – Infra, Data & AI to design, scale, and maintain the infrastructure and technology tools that power our critical electricity trading operations. Your role? Build reliable and scalable systems, orchestrate real‑time and batch data flows, and integrate next‑generation AI solutions to accelerate decision‑making. With a global yet pragmatic vision, you’ll automate, optimize, and secure our cloud‑native environments while working closely with business teams. Your goal: maximize technological impact on company performance by combining innovation, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain a robust cloud‑native infrastructure to support critical electricity trading operations.

- Develop and orchestrate reliable, scalable, and well‑documented data pipelines, adapted to both real‑time and batch needs.

- Automate deployment, monitoring, and service management using Infrastructure as Code tools (Kubernetes, Pulumi, etc.).

- Implement intelligent agents and AI systems to enhance responsiveness, efficiency, and business decision‑making.

- Optimize system and data flow performance to ensure availability, security, and resilience.

- Contribute to the evolution and improvement of engineering standards: code reviews, security, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.

- Explore, test, and integrate new technologies (AI, orchestration, data streaming) based on their added value.

- Help develop a clear, documented, and easily accessible technical data and services catalog.

- Proactively communicate on system availability, performance, and project progress.

Profile

- 8+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, or a similar technical role.

- Excellent command of Python and solid understanding of infrastructure automation languages.

- Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerized architectures, and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and databases (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Redshift).

- Proficiency with orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, etc.).

- Mastery of modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, alerting).

- Comfortable with DataOps concepts, data cataloging, and data flow optimization.

- Strong interest in generative AI and agentic architectures – with the drive to apply them in real‑world business contexts.

- Generalist and pragmatic mindset: you go where you’re needed, adapt quickly, and stay focused on business impact.

- Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams (trading, risk, analysts, product, etc.).

- Experienced and versatile professional, equally comfortable interacting with developers and senior leadership.
