Licensed Practical Nurse, OP- Slippery Rock

This position will work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays This position will work 4 9.5-hour shifts with one set day off during the week after a 12-week orientation period. This position will also help support both Butler offices as well as the Cranberry/Mars office. This position will be responsible for rooming patients for the provider, triage, in-baskets, will be trained for non-stress testing, phlebotomy, and injections.
The ideal candidate will have good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced practice.
Sign-On Bonus Details:
- $7,500 sign-on bonus available for nurses with over one year of experience
- $5,000 sign-on bonus available for Graduate Nurses and nurses with less than one year of experience

Responsibilities:
- Draw blood.
- Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).
- Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Perform IV therapy under the direction of Registered Nurse.
- Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
