Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and organized Recruiter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for helping people find meaningful employment. You’ll be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle — from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating placements and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, attract, and recruit candidates for various skilled trades and technical positions.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and fit.
- Maintain active communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs.
- Write and post effective job advertisements across multiple job boards and platforms.
- Manage and update candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Coordinate onboarding and documentation for successful placements.
- Assist with reference checks, employment verifications, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the business development team to align recruitment priorities with client demand.
- Contribute to process improvements and initiatives that enhance recruitment efficiency.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of recruitment experience (skilled trades or staffing agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a high level of integrity.
