Workforce planning and employment strategies issues and programming are complex and constantly changing as a result of changes to provincial bargaining agreements, re-alignment of services, the re-alignment of client care groups, the changing landscape of work such as demographics, increasing retirements, and changing needs of clients. The Associate must have a broad understanding and sound knowledge of the various types of health care careers in order to effectively coordinate and plan programming and events and understand client needs. Knowledge of health service delivery in the province is also required as ongoing issues must be incorporated into planning. The Associate works in close collaboration with the Specialists on the team to provide support for daily workforce planning & employment issues/challenges that arise but also to assist with recruitment and retention programming and events.Human Resources Exemption: NoExperience One (1) year experience Education Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) Human Resources certificate Business diploma Human Resources diploma Business Certificate Business Administration certificate Other Education and Training Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable Equivalent combination of education and experience Competencies Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example Capability to transform systems: Encourage and support innovation Computer skills Critical thinking skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action Strong interpersonal skills Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
